This generator creates a printable task sheet for testing a student's ability to identify the diatonic chords of the major scale.

Each question asks for a specific chord by its roman numeral (eg "the iii chord"), within a chosen major key. Depending on the options selected, the student can be asked to write the chord's name, write its notes, and/or colour in its notes on a printed keyboard.

Select which major keys to include, how many questions to generate, and your preferred print size, then press "Generate Preview" to see the task sheet before saving it as a PDF or set of PNG images to your device.
