How to Play

You will hear a sequence of 4 chords drawn from the Major key you select. Your job is to identify each chord in order.

These sequences use all diatonic chords except for the vii°, which is not commonly used.

How to Play

Press Begin Game to hear a 4-chord sequence in your selected key. As soon as the game begins, the chord tiles appear so you can build your answer while you listen.

The sequences use all six diatonic chords I, ii, iii, IV, V and vi — the vii° chord is not used.

Build your answer in order using the chord tiles, then press Submit.

On the answer reveal, press Show Sequence to watch the correct progression animate on the piano with audio — this is your main learning tool. If you were wrong, press Show My Answer to see where you differed (green = correct, red = wrong).

Use Replay at any point during answering to hear the sequence again.
