You'll hear one, two or three notes played together. Decide how many different notes you can hear. This trains your ear to pick individual pitches out of a sound, which is the first step towards hearing chords and harmony.
Two-note questions can be any two notes within an octave of each other. Three-note questions are basic chord shapes (major, minor, sus2 or sus4 triads, sometimes with a 6th, 7th or octave), in root position or an inversion, and always fit within one octave.
Use the answer buttons or press 1, 2 or 3. Press R to replay the notes and Space / Enter to advance to the next question.
Change the note range at any time via Settings ⚙️. A wider range makes the game harder. Scores are automatically saved to your Progress Tracker.
